Since 1974, ABBOTT-IPCO(ABI) has served the Horticulture industry as an International source of imported Dutch bulbs, perennials and other new and unique products for the greenhouse industry, garden center, landscaper and gardener. ABI Europe is integral to our success. Having a Dutch company gives us more insight and expanded offerings, emphasizing on specialty bulb crops and perennials. In the year 2000, ABI began Classic Caladiums with Dr. Bob Hartman. Re-inventing the wheel, Classic has brought the caladium industry up to modern standards. We have introduced 90+ patented caladium varieties since 2007 - many of which have improved sun tolerance. ABI with Classic Caladiums is the leading producer of the world's supply of calaldium bulbs.
